Chris Hoven & Sons Plasterers have been established for over 20 years, undertaking all aspects of plastering services in domestic and commercial properties, new build and restoration work. No job is too big or too small.

Plastering Services

• Plastering – skimming of walls and ceilings to a smooth polished finish, ready for painting or papering
• Plaster boarding/dot and dabbing – plasterboard is applied to a wall or ceiling
• Dry-lining – plasterboard is applied to brickwork or stud walls or metal framework. It can be skimmed with plaster or tape and jointed to a finish ready for decorating
• Skimming over artex ceilings – ceiling are scrapped down (if required) and skimmed to provide a smooth flat polished surface ready for painting
• Coving – decorative plaster moulds around the ceilings and walls
• Rendering - Sand and cement is applied to exposed block or brickwork. First a scratch coat, then a second coat is applied to create a smooth finish ready for painting
• Screeding/Latex Flooring – used to level off a floor surface using sand and cement screeds, rapid sets screeds or latex
• Renovation
